Red Hat CEO--Jim Whitehurst 近日在Open Source Business Conference (OSBC)上对CW记者表示，他个人很质疑桌面Linux的实际用处，他认为桌面Linux不能给企业用户带来经济效益。Whitehurst说：首先，他不认为桌面Linux能为用户挣钱。而且只有很少的人会用桌面Linux做关键的事务，因为他们根本就没打算为这个系统付费。
