根据报道， Intel公司新推出一种名为“P-channel”和“N-channel”的晶体管能够将处理器的功耗降低至当前处理器产品的10％。 Intel公司于日前公布了新材料“P-channel”晶体管的更多细节，新晶体管基于的是硅基，使用了一种名为III-V的化合物半导体。大约在一年之前Intel公司就对外描述过基于III-V 材料的“P-channel”晶体管，当时同样基于的是硅基。
