近日，据知情人士向CCTIME透露，工信部将于4月正式发文，公布手机用户可任选手机运营商携号转网一事。消息称，预计在发文后7个半月内，工信部电信研究院将联合三家运营商进行数据库的建立，以及网络和平台的改造。2010年4月，在海南和天津两地正式面向社会试商用。此事一经报道引起了社会各界的强烈反响。 携号转网是现有手机用户，无需改变手机号码，就可以根据个人意愿任意转换手机运营商，并享受其提供的各种服务。
