德国工程公司Festo本周向外公开了机器人企鹅。 机器人企鹅可以像真企鹅那样在水中游泳，用鳍划水。更大型号的企鹅如果充满氦气的话还能在空中中“畅游”。每个企鹅都装备了3D传感器，能监控周围环境，防止撞上墙，或与其它企鹅相碰。Fischer称仿生企鹅可装备柔韧性的夹具去执行工业应用，它的手臂能向任何方向扭转90度，灵活无比。
