在CES展上，索尼展示了一款Cyber-shot系列的新照相机。 DSC-G3相机使用4倍光学变焦的Zeiss镜头，1000万像素，3.5英寸触摸显示屏，4 GB内部闪存。最令人感兴趣的是它的软件，是基于Busybox和Kernel 2.6.11的Access Linux Platform (ALP)。照相机还内置了Wi-Fi和浏览器，可将照片直接上传到网上。美国售价500美元，kernel、Busybox和其它组件的源代码可在官网下载。除了DSC-G3外，索尼还有许多产品如DSC-W90都运行Linux。
