在近日举行的“中国宽带应用发展论坛”上，中国电信集团公司科技委主任韦乐平表示，中国电信将大力推动WAPI(无线局域网鉴别与保密基础架构)的发展， 这也是中国电信在推进WAPI方面首次明确表态。此前，WAPI在我国的商用可谓一波三折，随着运营商即将强势介入，WAPI产业有望迎来快速商用的大跨越。
