哥斯达黎加电信局(ICE)表示,已经与中国华为技术有限公司签署一项价值2.35亿美元的合同.华为将为哥斯达黎加93.5万客户提供3G手机网络服务.
ICE副总裁Claudio Bermudez在接受采访时表示,截至2009年年末,哥斯达黎加将在全国范围内完成3G网络的铺设并投入运营.据悉,华为是在击败两大竞争对手爱立信 及中兴通讯而获得的.目前,华为与ICE的交易协议已经提交给了哥斯达黎加会计局,等待该国政府的官方批准.
